Professional Background I have provided psychological services to individuals in a variety of public and private mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential drug treatment programs, correctional institutions, immigration detention facilities, intensive outpatient group programs, and independent private practice.
I have presented over 80 professional workshops at the international, national, state and local level on a variety of mental health topics. Some of the areas I presented on were suicide prevention, group psychotherapy, evidenced based psychotherapy, culturally sensitive psychotherapy, substance abuse treatment and relapse prevention, body-mind wellness, and therapeutic images.
I have integrated and been practicing Voice Dialogue techniques and the Psychology of Selves as part of my clinical work since 1993.
